I'm a current resident of Woodside. I'm just curious if anyone else has noise problems from neighboring apartments. This is my third year living here and the first two years, the noise was never a problem. Now I hear the bass from neighboring apartments. Most neighbors have been responsive to us asking them to turn it down, but not all. I just want to know if this is an apartment problem or a neighbor problem.

I just moved to Woodside. I too have had problems with bass from neighbors. I thought about asking them to turn it down, but I wasn???t sure how they would respond. I can deal with noise from kids and pets, but I can???t deal with my walls shaking. So instead of confronting them, I contacted the rental office. Luckily, when the leasing person called them, the hip hop concert was in full effect, so they knew I wasn???t making up stuff. The music was turned down, but it still happens. Some apartment dwellers don???t realize that they share walls with other families. Or maybe they just don???t care. I am out of here when my lease expires.

I completely agree, I have been at woodside since december 7, 2007. I LOVE everything except the noise, it's like the walls/floors are hollow! The neighbors above me have a large dog and sometimes I can even hear it running around, and I can hear their music at times too. They were nice about the dog, they gave me their # and told me I could call anytime if it was being a nuisance... I went to management to ask them if they had some sort of weight limit on animals and they said 85 pounds (maybe management should lower that limit...) And my neighbor also plyas his music WAY too loud, it really bothers me! Maybe we all have the same neighbor who plays their hip-hop really loud hah! Honestly the noise is not that horrible, I've never heard much noise past 9-10pm...but it is the one major draw-back about woodside.
