I've been at Woodside since December 7, 2007 in a 1 bedroom w/ den. It's a 922 sq. ft. apartment for less than $1000/month! IMPOSSIBLE to find in the Northern VA area. In fact, price is the major reason why I chose Woodside. And I had easily researched over 100 apartments in the area before signing with Woodside. The outside appearance is nice, and kept well. When I moved into my apartment, it was in perfect condition, in fact, I was actually suprised to find it so clean with a plush and spotless carpet, nice blinds, and clean windows. The apartment and layout is extremely spacious..all my guests comment on how large it feels. Unlike most apartments in the area, it has a very good size kitchen (not a narrow kitchen that barely fits 1 person!) to give you an example - you could fit a small dinette table/chairs inside the kitchen..but you wouldn't really need to do that, because there is a nice bar! :) The compelx neighborhood is cute and small, and well-lit. Parking is never a problem - I always find parking right in front of my building, even when I get home late, so I'm not too sure why people were complaining about it. The stackable washer and dryer in the unit is older and a bit small, but it still works great.

And as far as the "bug problem" that people are talking about...I haven't seen one bug in the apartment since I've been there..whether people have bugs or not is a personal problem and it probably just reflects how clean they keep their apartment!

Despite all the great things I've said about this place, there is one major drawback, and it's the noise. So far, I've never heard the noise past 10PM, so it's not like it is extremely disturbing my lifestyle, but it's pretty annoying how I can hear my neighbor blasting his bass. But this problem I blame more on the inconsiderate neighbor rather than the complex. Also, my neighbors above me have a large dog, and I can hear it stomping around at times, almost like a kid. I asked the complex what their weight limit was on animals, and they said it was 85 pounds, so that's pretty annoying, it should definitley be lowered! But at least so far the neighbors have been polite, my neighbor upstairs (with the dog) gave me their # and told me to just give them a call if they are being too noisy.

Overall I highly recommend Woodside, you can't get much better for the price/location/features. on a scale of 1-10, I'd give them a 9. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
