We stayed here for over a year in 2006-2007.
Things I liked at Walden Pond Apartments-
1. The rooms are nice, big and spacious.
2. I loved that big window in the kitchen.
3. Nice closet and storage space.
4. You can always find a parking spot near your apartment.
5. Maintenance staff is helpful. (I felt that the Apt. Office Staff was rude some times.)

Things I did not like at Walden Pond Apartments-
1. Walden Pond has a serious problem of insects that keep crawling in even if you keep the insect screen and the glass windows/doors closed at all times. The termite treatment that they did every once in a while, did not help with the insect problem even a little bit.
2. Two of my neighbors (one on 1st floor and other on 3rd floor) found snakes in their apartments. They had called the maintenance staff, who came in and removed the snakes but it was very, very terrifying to know that some day I could also find a snake in my apartment.
3. If you step out of your apartment door and look at the roof above the stairs, or the roof in your patio you will find terminates are as much a resident at Walden Pond as you are. It was just creepy to see that the apartment building was nesting termites. I asked the staff if they could do something about that but in all the time I was there nothing was done about it.
4. The bathroom is the worst part of the whole apartment. I had 1.5 bath. Even the bigger one was very small and felt cramped up. The wash-basin in the smaller bathroom leaked for a few months before the problem was finally fixed after 3-4 unsuccessful attempts at preparing it. Bathrooms at Walden Pond are screaming for remodeling and renovation.
