I've lived in many apartments and townhouses and the walls here are more sound-proof than anywhere else I've lived. The only issue I currently have is not about the apts--it's my neighbor above me. I think they try to bounce bowling balls up there! But that's not indicative of the apartments in general. I can't hear anything going on next door or outside unless I have the windows open. Very family oriented and well-maintained.
