I'm a resident at "The Wyndhurst Villas" and if I had to do it over again I wouldn't be. These apartments are supposed to be luxury (A JOKE)!!!!! The appliances are the lowest grade you can find. Cabinets are paper covered MDF. You would think you would get real wood for $850. a month. The carpet is cheap and will clog your vacuum. The linoleum is turning colors. No ceiling fans to circulate the air in the apartment so windows are full of mold in the winter. Grounds are not kept up well. Lights on buildings are out, trust me I could go on and on!!! The management is another story. Since I have been here(5/07) there have been 4 managers and each one doesn't know what the last one did! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T MOVE HERE!! YOU WILL REGRET IT TRUST ME!

What this person said is totally true. The owners are only concerned with making money and could care less about the residents. If you are looking for a place to make a home this is not the place.

DITTO on the last comment!!! This place is a joke. The office staff is great at watching the t.v. and saying "no" or "I don't know" to any problems you may have. I will be out of here as soon as my lease is up - not soon enough!

I have only bad news toreport after living here for almost one year. We will be out of here asap! Management is the worst Ive ever encountered anywhere. The cheapest of anything available is the decor. Broken water mains in parking lots and broken glass. Lots if kids got sick last year in the filthy pool, my child got a severe outer ear infection. Dog poop every where, I have heard tenants screaming at the management-8 or 9 mangers so far in my 1 year here. The lease states that it cannot be broken even upon death! The WORST place in Lynchburg. Neighbors living nearby said it was built to become subsidized housing but they couldn't get approval after building this mess so they named it Wyndhurst Luxury Apartments and try to trick people into renting. I have never met even ONE happy renter here. Do not make the same mistake we did

All of these comments are 100% true!!! These apartments are horrible! They showed me all around one apartment, but when I filled out the paperwork, they explained that the particular apartment I visited wouldn't be ready until much later, and had me choose a different one by pointing at it. I ending up moving into a "brand new" apartment, where I was the "first tenant" ever. When I moved in, I noticed that the linoleum floors were scratched up, there were stains and paint drops on the carpets, and our dryer was obviously not "brand new". The owners and management lie to their tenants and do not enforce the rules, while at the same time breaking their own rules. I have seen the property manager walk her dog before and not pick up after it's leavings. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else!

I was a resident at wyndhurst villas and am thankful that I have relocated. During my residence, I encountered all of the problems noted by others, and then some. I have a background in interior design, and immediately was aware of the inexpensive carpet, vinyl, lighting, appliances, painting and overall budget items used to make up "Wyndhurst Luxury Villas". I decided to rent because of the "SO called selective process" of qualifying new tenants. I was impressed by the quiet location and willing to pay luxury prices for the neighbor hood I was told I could expect. Please reconsider if you are thinking about living at Wyndhurst. The current management is very unprofessional, rude, arrogant, and an absolute joke. I encourage you to take a close inspection before considering moving your family to the Twilight zone. Most important have an attorney look over your contract, and you will not be signing.

What everbody has said it absolutely TRUE!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! The current manager is crazy and knows nothing about being friendly or professional! All they do in the office is take smoking and eating breaks! Everytime I go into the office nobody knows whats going on and even if they did they would not help because they do not care! If the management wasn't bad enough the apartments themselves are CRAP! The farthest from luxury you could get! Cheap everything, and things break all the time and then you have to wait 493904 years for somebody to come out and fix them! UGH! With all the other places in Lynchburg, ANYWHERE besides here is better! Trust me... don't make the same mistake all the rest of us have made by renting here!

Last winter-spring, these were true statements about the service/manager. However, in about June Tracy came on board; she has turned the community around. She is great-nice, pleasent, and caring. Everything has changed for the better! The new management that started in March has been a breath of fresh air too. New things are being done, and the caring attitude is prevalent here.
