When I write this I'm not exaggerating about this apartment. The managers at this place are lazy and very unwelcoming once you sign the papers. It's takes a very long time just to get any kind of maintenance done here. You have to call over and over just to remind the managers about your problem. The managers act all nice and welcoming at first, but once I moved in they became rude. They'll act nice here and there but don't go to them about any problems because it won't get fixed. The tub in my apartment looked dirty with paint and just some kind of dirt that won't come off. I've tried every kind of cleaning product out there and it wont do a thing for it. The kitchen counter is painted a disgusting yellow that gets sticky if heated or has something hot placed on it. They did a very poor job of cleaning the apartment before I moved in. The carpets still had stains, the air duct still had tons of dust and food particles, the toilet smelled and looked like someone just got done taking a crap, there was rust all over the kitchen sink and the bathrooms sinks. The paint job over the cheap dry wall is really distasteful and looks like it was done in a rush. The ceiling fan still had tons of dust from the last residents. The cabinets looked like they haven't been cleaned out or renovated in years. The dryer is so old it rumbles the hell out of my apartment so I have to close the door to not hear it. Also the dryer lint tube is attached to the ceiling to a make shift exit point with duct tape. (if the dryer is kept on to long the duct tape melts off) The doors to my bedrooms are broken, both of them won't close. I asked the management to fix it back in March and this is towards the end of July. I would really like to just cancel my lease and do a early move but they have a 2 month rent penalty. Now that's ridiculous.

lol, in my first week of moving in, the dryer made this terribly louch screeching sound whenever turned on. I had to resort to air drying my laundry until they could fix it. On top of that, our laundry door never stays on its hinges; my husband's had to fix it twice already, but he says that from the way it's built, it'll continually pop off the hinge. I know what you mean about the carpet, ours had this overcast stain in the hallway when we moved in, after a couple months wear and tear, it looks disgusting; I'm considering renting a shampoo cleaner. I definitely hope they update the kitchen countertops and cabinets; the countertops are really cheap and stain way too easily, and the cabinets still have their "1975" stickers on them.
