I moved into my 1-bedroom apartmentin Battery Heights at the beginning of November 2004. So far, I absolutely love it! When I called the office about a soft spot on my kitchen floor (water damage from the washing machine), someone was there within an hour to evaluate it, and it was fixed in less than 2 weeks (not bad for such a major job). I put in a minor maintenance request in January about low water pressure in bathroom sink, and it was never answered (even though I called the office more than once). Then the manager of the property called me and actually apologized and couldn't believe it hadn't been fixed yet. I was pretty impressed that the manager took the time to call me--says a lot about how much she cares. I NEVER have trouble with fining a parking spot, and if I do need to park further away than usual, the grounds seem very quiet and safe. I am sad that I will probably have to move again when my lease is up due to job relocation. I don't think I'll be able to find a place this nice in the DC metro area for the same price and large apartments!
