I will be moving this coming September. I would love to stay but they do not have 3 bedroom apts. The management has always been friendly and helpful. Maintenance is always quick to fix and assist you. For what's it's worth, Battery Heights is a good place to rent an apartment. Simple and clean.

I also wish there were some 3-bedroom options here; my husband and I are trying to save for a house, but the rate we pay in rent is so much lower than a house payment would be that I'd like to be able to stay longer to sock away more money for a downpayment on a single family home. I'd like to be able to stay another two years, but I think we're going to outgrow the place before then, even though our 2-bed 2-bath apartment is a really good size and we really love it here. My only issue is the kitchen cabinets (not many and they have fixed shelves so they can't be raised or lowered to accommodate food boxes), and that there's not really a good space for a free-standing pantry. The wall between the a/c unit door and the water heater door is just a little too narrow for a standard-sized pantry, so we've put our dishes and food supplies in whichever cabinet they fit, instead of in any real "order" - which is kind of a pain; sometimes we forget we've bought something because it's in a cabinet that doesn't make much sense, order-wise. If it weren't for the cabinets and really wanting another bedroom to use as a home office, we'd probably stay for several more years.
