I moved here from northeast Maryland and the place looked decent at first. That was just an illusion. I have had multiple run ins with kids throwing footballs and basketballs in the common areas between the apartments and the cars. They regularly hit the cars and one group of teens hit my wife's new car. I told them to stop and they made threats and I had to call the police. The police were in my building at least 4 times a month until the drug dealers across the hall moved out. They are still in the complex almost daily for one reason or another. These people left animals in their apartment for days at a time without anyone coming back, I had to call animal control. They also filled the common hall with trash, used puppy pads and rotting garbage and furniture. Management finally got the stuff removed. The man made lake is filled with trash and there is trash everywhere. Kids ride bikes up and down the sidewalks even though there was a memo that this was not allowed, and I have seen kids dare cars to hit them. On top of this, there is gang graffiti everywhere and we have at least 10 illegal aliens living in the apartment above us. If I can break this lease I will, it is a very bad place to live.
