Upon getting out of college and getting married almost immediately afterwards, we had to find a place quickly to stay here in the DC Metro area. Chatsworth was the nicest, most accomodating, and affordable complex in the area. We mainly looked in Prince William County.

My wife's a teacher, and they had good deals for new teachers to the county (waive deposit and some others). We wanted a lab puppy eventually, and they have an up-to-70 lbs. limit on dogs. This complex is right in suburbia, not too bad of an area. Shopping, groceries, and everything else is nearly a mile away (we walk to PetSmart all of the time). And Best Buy's across the street!

A new company has taken over the apartments in the recent months, and things are okay. We have our complaints from time to time, but all you have to do is address them and they'll be fixed. The timliness is another story though.

We still live here (can't pick "present" on the year dropdown), but plan to leave once the lease is up...as we hope to get a mortgage elsewhere.

Overall, Chatsworth Park is definitely the best pick if you're looking to rent in the Manassas area.
