I've lived here for four years, we're moving to a larger apartment in a newer community. It has generally been quiet, depending on my upstairs neighbor. The current neighbor has a home theater system which he obviously doesn't worry about turning up. Calls to the office don't seem to have any effect on noisy neighbors, this is not just my experience but that of a friend who has lived there as long as I have. I never hear the train. I've never had trouble with repairs to my apt. Any time I've needed repairs they've resonded fairly promptly. There are far too many dogs in the community - there are dead patches of grass everywhere from dog urine. I wouldn't let a small child play on the grass. Urine isn't the only thing in the grass. I live close to the woods so I hear the feral cats fighting. We had an upstairs neighbor whose dog peed on the stairs as they were taking him out for a walk - when the sun shined into the foyer it reeked of dog urine - I felt like I was living in a third world country - I called the office several times before they ever did anything about the problem. I had my patio furniture stolen off of my patio - the office was "sorry but we can't do anything about it" I saw my furniture out by the pond but they said they couldn't go get it for me because it was inside the fence. I actually caught the kids who took my furniture coming back for more! For the most part we have had an uneventful 4 years - I always enjoyed the pool for the most part pool rules were enforced. They do advertise a business center but it is only avail when the office is open because the computers were abused. We loved the staff when we first moved in, but since changing owners there has been a steady decline in the apperance of the apartments.
