I recently relocated from the Outer Banks and needed to find a place somewhat reasonable quickly. That was the mistake I made with this place. They showed me a model which was in pristine condition, but the exact one I moved in was appauling. Previous renters had holes in the walls unrepaired, red paint dripped all over the bathroom, and not mention the 3 cans of stinky cat food I found under the dryer. Their maintenance is ridiculous. I moved in February and by April i had ants crawling over my living room. They said they would send an exterminator but that never happened. Finally, after finding an ant crawling on my newborns face and nearly having to get in a physical altercation with a sorry excuse of a human being property manager and maintenance man, they managed to caulk the wall and that was it. Then when this was done, it ruined the carpet. Management arranged for a carpet cleaner to come in after another 2 weeks. This did nothing but bring out dirtier stains from the previous renters that had seeped into the floor. All the while this was happening my dryer started burning my families clothes. I have ruined at least $600 worth of clothing with no reinbursement. They said it was a plastic piece in the dryer that fell off and put some kind of piece in and that same night it burned my Polo rugby ($135). My trash disposal starting becoming obnoxiously loud in June and the maintenance guy told me to jus tell the property manager to replace but dont tell her that it wasnt his idea. Like it was a problem for them to fix a situation. Stray cats, dumpster diving --------, argumenative staff, and sorry property management I wont even begin to rant about. Needless to say I wont be renewing my lease with a dump like Chatsworth Park. Just a piece of info for prospective tenants, I watched their carpet guys throwing brand new carpeting out on the wet ground before installing it into a recently vacant apartment.
