This apartment complex seemed to good to be true. The apartments seemed well priced, spacious, decent neighborhood. Boy were my roommate and I dead wrong. The management of this complex is at best incompetent. Problems started about two months after we moved in when we complained to management about the neighbors below us...we not only heard the conversations, arguments, but we could feel the TV at all hours of the night. The playground, we were told, would be gone shortly and that children must be accompanied by a parent and off premises when the sun had set. Again, this is not the case despite complaints. Children run unsupervised, and some families show up after 10pm at night to let their kids play for a bit. Barbecuing. Love it, except we were told absolutley no barbecuing on the premises, yet the neighbors downstairs are allowed to do whatever they wish irregardless of the law and rules of the complex. We have complained several times about the safety issue, but it literally falls on deaf ears. And for the coup d'etat, God forbid they ever lose a rent check. All fees will be your responsibility even if it is their incompetence that lost the payment to begin with. Mind you this was turned in with my roommate's portion that they processed. I did everything that I was supposed too including canceling the "lost check", writing a replacement, and supplying documentation and still I was charged when their mistake came back to haunt me within weeks.

And decent looking complex. Hmmm, it can be went trash isn't being piled around the dumpsters because fellow tennants are too lazy to a) actually place their trash in the bins and b) take their trash/ large items to the public dump that is oh maybe 5 miles down the road on Balls Ford. Chatsworth has done absolutly nothing to address this problem.

I can honestly say that you really need to look at other properties before settling in on Chatsworth. The fees are outrageous for the services not offered, the staff is at best bored when you come in, and complaints fall on deaf ears. I wouldn't suggest ever living in this complex. It is not worth the money they are charging.
