I lived in Manassas for most of my childhood and I've personally never lived in Coverstone because I always knew better than to live in the worst part of Manassas. So I'm writing this letter to warn anyone from out of town that might be considering these apartments because it's a good deal. Coverstone has ALWAYS been the ghetto and it will always be the ghetto. From my earliest memories until now (20 years later) Coverstone and Soldiers Ridge (apartment complex next door) have been trashy, low class and run by wanna be thugs and drug dealers.(no offense to the misfortunate renters that didn't know any better) Amberton apartments is a little better if you're a male, but if you're a female, DO NOT MOVE TO AMBERTON, SOLIDERS RIDGE, OR COVERSTONE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RAPED!
If you think that I'm overexaggerating, call this number (703) 792-6500, That's the Prince William County Police Department, ask for any officer on duty to tell you about Coverstone and I'm sure that you'll believe me then. Don't say I didn't warn you.....

Actually the reviewer is on point. When I first moved to this area I contacted the police department to check on crime statistics and was told to stay away from coverstone.

Wow, it is a given that coverstone is not the best when it comes to crime but there is bad people where ever you go and when it comes to truely judging an entire neighborhood leave it to the people that live there sure it may be low income but that does not make it bad there are good people that live in the area i have for a long time now and i agree with kimono every thing is not always the way it seams i am a female and have had no prob's so that has to show for something don't write about what you do not know by the way i am not stupid sorry your hubby got shot at in the area but i am sure this is not the only area that kind of thing has happend eather i know there is alot of talk and even reports about coverstone but you don't really know any thing 'till you have lived here i do think it is crazy to tell a resident they are stupid after all we are the ones that live here and know it from the inside just because this is considered the ghetto does not mean we all do drugs or are violent there are good families that live here and things are not as scarry as they seam so for those out there that can not afford any thing else it is not all bad like some have said

Everyone knows Coverstone is probably the worst community to live in. You dont have to LIVE there to know this. You can just drive through there and get the picture.

coverstone is trash, for trash, and control by trash.. all they do is hang out in the stairway ofd the building..and mean mug people as they drive by. most are harmless wanna-bess, but if i were you i would most def. check the sexual offenders list b4 even considerinbg it... actually, i believe most inhabitants of that complex are on whats called SECTION 8, its where the gopvernment pays uyp to 90% OF THEIR RENT FOR THEM... DRIVE THROUGH THERE ANYTIME...IF YOU DONT BELIVE ME.
