I would have never lived here if I would have known ahead of time the conditions in which I would be stuck. I feel unsafe on a regular basis, being a young, single female. The men make noises and say dirty, disgusting things to you as you pass and make you feel as though you are going to be attacked at any moment. No one speaks English well so it is hard to communicate any problems. After living in the complex for four months now I STILL have no stove. It was missing when I moved in and has still not been installed. The shower goes on the fritz all of the time, with water temperatures that change from scalding hot to freezing cold in a moments notice. I clean on a regular basis, the bathroom and kitchen at LEAST twice a week, and I vaccuum every other day, and to my dismay I still have to live with roaches! Of course, I can't get out of my lease. That would be insane! I am apparently deserving of these appalling conditions.
