I currently live at Ashton Common apartments and I think its a nice place. Some of the stuff that people have written is true and some of it isnt. For instance about the kids being unsupervised. That is some what true. I see a lot of small kids hanging around and they dont look like they are old enought to spit. Other kids take up room sitting on the stairs and have the nerve to look at you all stupid when you say excuse me or try to walk by, but this is the parents fault. PARENTS Those are you kids raise them! Management needs to start being strict on parents and those bad a-- kids. Start putting fines on them for what their kids do and I bet that will solve a lot of problems. As far as management is concerned about her being pregnant well that is really irrelevant and none of my business. I have had things break in my apartment and I called and they have fixed it. I have never seen a security guard there. And yes I do have a job so whoever wrote that section 8 people are there only dont know what they are talking about. These are nice apartments. Believe me I've seen worse. Dont let your personal issues cloud your judgement. Management cannot be a push over. Better be glad I am not management because I would be fining you left and right for stuff especially unsupervised KIDS. The rent has gone up extremely and that is why hopefully next year I will be moving. 1000 for a 2 bedroom is way to much but hey you gotta do what ya gotta do. I will just say this if you have a problem with management let her know. I know I would.

to the repose of sec 8 pepole living there and that you have a job ! jsut because your on sec 8 dosn't mean that you dont have a job! or that your rent is free! Just the opisite sec 8 pepole when the county is doing there job live by a higher standerd of living requierments and rules than your averge joe blow! Some of the mangements best friends that live there are on housing assistance! word of adivce dont ever get on her bad side for Anything wether it be late rent 1x or your dog or cat not being were it belongs or your kids doing something they arnet suposed to! her boys arent lil darlings eaither they learn from there mother! they can be and are good kids when there opions arent clouded by adult converstion over heard in the office about clients@ one of my best friends that lived there was on houseing assitants and they were treated very differntly.
