Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
My family and I have lived here for 1 year and can't wait to get out. The neighborhood is on a rapid decline, and no one seems to care about other's property or their own. There are problems with children playing in the parkinglot and damaging vehicles. Complaints have been made, but no action is taken. Tenants are merely told that if your car is damaged to call your renters insurance. We just requested a letter be sent to all tenants advising them to comply by their lease and keep the children from playing in the parking lot, managment couldn't even do that. Yesterday there was a child who was caught throwing rocks at vehicles in the parking lot!
Maintainance also responds quite rapidly- in one istance our washer had an issue while we were out at a movie, we returned home to an apartment with 1 inch of water on the floor at 11PM. Gene rushed right out that night to evaluate the problem and had the washer replaced with in the next few days.
Our carpets probably should have been replaced but they were just dried with a few strategically placed industrial fans, I just hope we don't get charged for them when we try to move out.
A little tip-REPLACE YOUR OWN AIR FILTERS! They claim they do it every three months- try once every few years. Our electric bill went down over 100 a month just be keeping the filters in check.
There are also a lot of apartments with mold problems- so if you have small children be sure to get a mold test kit before you move in!!!
The office staff is friendly and helpful Amiesha and Cristy are always pleasent and willing to help.
It's definately not the worst of the area- probably the best for its price.
I have mixed feelings about the complex. While I think the company does it's part, some of the tenants don't and that's what makes this place unattractive.
