I hate Haverhill and the management too! I lived there for only 3month b/c I had to cancel my lease and thanks God! I don't know if I could handle a year there. 1st thing as soon as I moved, I filled the move-in punch list and 2 months after I was still waiting for them to replaced the blinds in the living room that I could never open. 2nd, they go into your apartment w/o your permission or w/o letting you know but they are so dumb that always leave something. During the winter you will never have hot water. They turned the gas the lowest possible and then close the water heater room door w key so you cant turn it up yourself and don t bother calling them because they never show up. I broke my lease and I left them a check to cover the last month of rent because I was going to go out of town and I didn t want to forget, well, they cashed the check before the date and didn t even have the decency of letting me know. I also left the apt w a month in advance and I know they moved someone else there but they told me they that it was not possible to give me my deposit at that time. I m a consultant and I ve been in a lot of apt complex around the country but Haverhill is the WORST!! and everyone at the office too. I never had to write a review before but this time is worth it. I had my doubts when I moved there because I ve read the reviews before moving. One day I drove around the area and saw that it was nice and all gated so since I was going to live by myself I decided to move. I thought that the place was safe but after I moved I noticed that those gates never work!! Anyone could go in and out or do anything w/o a problem. Another thing they always tell you that you would never hear the train . Well maybe from where they live but believe me, there is a nightmare!! The train runs morning, afternoon and night during the week and weekends. I think that the persons writing good things about the apartments are the same miserable people that work there! I live here. You are a liar. I can't comment on the problems you had with breaking your lease but the gates work. They have worked since I move here in 2004. The VRE (Train) never runs on the weekends, its not the metro. A lot of holes in your story buddy. The "move-in punch list"? I looked up that terminology sounds like you work in property management...their competition perhaps? Get a life.

I couldn't agree more with the initial post. There are no holes in that story because I ran into the same problems. I lived in Haverhill in 2006 and have absolutely nothing good to say about the management. Two of the three gates DID NOT WORK!!! They were left open night and day. It is true about the train, which can drive you crazy. Additionally, I have constantly had to fight to get my deposit back even though there were no problems with the apartment when I left. The management is eager to take your money, even offering incentives in 2006 to pay early, but are reluctant to refund deposits. The staff at the time was incompentent and had to rewrite my lease three times just to get the dates and times right. Come on! The only good thing I can say is that the premises were nice, but it is a nightmare to get anything done and the office people are horrible.

Mackey, you get a life! You are the one who probably works for the management. By the way, Did you go to school? Well, if you are in the management team you probably not because move-in punch/ check list is the only way you can call that process... I bet the whole world know that term... moron! What competition are you talking about? You can only compete against something great and Haverhill is not even close to that!! ... thanks anonymous is a fact you lived there!
