I did not like it

I lived here for about a year and regretted it within the first 5 minutes. I made one major mistake and that was
not checking the actual unit I was assigned. The problem is that half of the units are on the back side of the
building, and its pretty scary to walk behind the building at night. I asked to be moved to the front side of the
building and they refused, saying I had to wait a year until my current lease ran out. This is 2 days after I moved
in. You pay the same price to be on the front, so I guess they figured they would rather have one on the front
leftover that way it would be easier to find someone to take it. I tried to get out of the lease after 10 months
and they made it so difficult. They required me to find someone to rent for an entire year, not just the 2 months.
Also, I had a bottom unit and about every week I would run into a house centipede. If you havent seen one of these
things you should look it up online. The only way I would recommend moving into this community is if you can get a
unit on the second floor to avoid the centipedes, and on the front side of the building so you dont get mugged
walking around back at night.

In defense of Manassas Meadows Apartments we were only following company policy. By following company policy it assures that everyone is treated equally.
This gentleman came to view our property well before he was ready to make his decicion. During his visit we showed him a front one bedroom unit because that was what was available at that time. Once he made his decision we gave him the only unit we had available for his move in date. That is how he got a backside one bedroom apartment. Please note we have 128 units and 64 units are located in the back of the buildings. Our company policy is not to move residents from unit to unit. If they chose to relocate to another unit we will do so at the end if their current lease.
After living at the property for 8 months this gentleman turned in a vacate notice breaking his lease. At that time it was fully discussed as to what options he had and what the penalties would be in breaking a lease. Again company policy is that you are responsible for the lease that you signed and agrred too.
All in all this resident still recommends our community.
