Masons Keepe

I had a very bad experience in the apartments I lived in before coming to Masons Keepe last year, so I waited until a year passed before posting here. I've signed a new lease so that's an indication that I'm satisfied with my living conditions at Masons Keepe.
No multi-family dwelling is perfect, but my experience with Bozzuto (this is my third community) has been consistently positive. Maintenance requests are taken care of within 24 hours; emergency requests are handled within hours and this maintenance crew is the tidiest I've ever seen! They're nice to my dog, they don't leave a huge mess and they're pretty nice guys. The office staff has been very cooperative before and after I moved in, always pleasant, and whether or not they're actually concerned about my problems they always _act_ concerned. They're polite and friendly and seem genuinely interested in maintaining the property well.
I've read a lot of complaints about the trains. I live pretty close to the tracks and I'm not bothered by the noise of the trains at all. They stop sounding the horns around 10 p.m. and I find the rumbling of the trains rather soothing. Trains are cool!
It's true there are a lot of dogs living on the property who have owners who do not pick up after them. Perhaps if these lazy dog owners knew the health consequences of leaving feces laying around, they'd clean up their acts. I figure if they're too lazy to clean up after their pets then they're probably to lazy to vaccinate them or treat them for fleas, ticks, and worms. People can get worms from dog poop, and rodents are attracted to it. Management makes it easy to get biodegradable bags for poop clean up - there are several stations with baskets attached for disposal. The only excuse for not using the bio bags and cleaning up after their dogs is sheer laziness.
The smokers are just as bad as the lazy dog people. Just about every breezeway is littered with cigarette butts, as well as the yards in front and behind of the buildings. It's disgusting. I would appreciate some effort from the management team on finding ways to get people to clean up after their pets and stop throwing cigarette butts around the property!
Did you know there are commingled recycling bins on the property' I didn't know, either, until I asked about it. I believe an energy conservation campaign by Masons Keepe would go a long way towards educating people about the benefits of recycling, as well as other energy saving methods - installing CFLs in apartments, turning off the lights, adjusting thermostats, etc.
Speed bumps! I hope we can get a bunch of them installed soon because hardly anyone obeys the speed limit on property. I've had some scary near-collisions with drivers who are in such a hurry they don't even notice what's around them, including pedestrians and pets crossing the streets.
OK, that sounded complainy, but I'm really satisfied with my first year at Masons Keepe. I hope the second year is better. BTW, I am not a Masons Keepe employee. I work in the District so stow the conspiracy theories.

Actually,
Prince William County changed the time trains are allowed to blow their horns. They are now allowed to blow them at anytime, day or night.
