Keep LOOKING! Take my advice I will save you headache and money.
Not only is Masons Keepe the only apartment complex in Manassas that thinks during a recession there apartment prices should continue to rise but the staff is awful. We lived there for over a year and during this time they went through office staff like flies. Yes, the train is very noisy DO NOT believe anyone that says that it is not. Yes, there is a sign posted that says the horn will not blow between certain hours although it still does. While we were living there our AC stopped working twice in July both times. When I got home from work it was 87 degrees in the apartment and maintenance would not come until the next morning because that was not considered an emergency. There are apartments just as nice throughout Manassas I suggest you look elsewhere! The staff are a bunch of alcoholics and allow druggies to live in their community. The apartments are very plain all walls including ceiling are cream and the cabinets, appliances, and vanity in the bathroom are all white. Last but not least the apartments are poorly built you have to place a towel or something in front of doors and window seals to keep the draft out.

We saw staff come and go as well. ---- the manager, is the most unprofessional we have ever dealt with. Her chest is usually hanging out of her shirt and she doesn't know what she is talking about half of the time. She is very fake and condescending.
We also had issues with the draft in the door and windows. Apartment was always set to 73 in the winter and never seemed warm.
Train is loud but we got used to that noise.

Wow, what a load of crap from both commenters. I'm on my third lease at Masons Keepe, I've seen exactly TWO staff changes (and I can give names), and it's the best-built and best managed Bozzuto property I've ever lived at (this is my third).
Maintenance has always been prompt in responding to any issues I've had, and they've been few. I keep my thermostat at 67F in the winter, put on a sweater, and I'm just fine. In the summer my apartment thermostat is set to 77F, so I hardly consider 87F an emergency unless you're elderly or just a wimp. Buy a damn window fan that uses less energy. When I noticed the draft under my door, I called maintenance, they installed new weather stripping and MIRACLE - problem solved. Do you people ever consider taking some action yourselves or do you just whine and hope a problem gets solved?
What proof do you have that the staff are alcoholics? That's damn near libelous, since you posted it on an Internet site, and I've seen no evidence of alcoholism in the staff. They're always clean, sober, friendly, and professional when I'm around them. Negative posts like this that fail to mention any specifics usually come from people who don't get along with their neighbors because they don't bother to meet them, probably don't pay their rent on time, and are generally unpleasant human beings.
Masons Keepe is a good place to live. No, I'm not a member of the staff so shove your paranoia where the sun don't shine.

I agree with nothoney. All of the crap your unloading is a bunch of marlarky. I'm on my 3rd lease and yes the train is loud but for the price and the emaculate up keep of the property, I'm not mad at all.

Its 84 in here right now, and no they won't come and fix the air because it has to be at least 90 OUTSIDE not in your apartment before they will fix it. Maintenence told me to get a fan.

I've had a similar experience. My husband and I even caught one of the staff and an unidentified woman canoodling in one of the storage rooms/closets. We were with another resident when it happened and though we'd never met the other resident we kept looking at each other like we couldn't believe we were actually seeing what we were seeing.
