I lived in these apartments and they are vastly overpriced. I wqould spend one whole two weeks pay on an apartment, and I am a teacher. I moved back to Pittsburgh where the people are a lot nicer and rent isn't through the roof.

This sounds more like a personal problem than an apartment problem. There are more expensive apartments in Manassas, and its one of the cheapest places in Northern VA.
