Ravens Crest Apartments

I have lived at Ravens Crest since February '06 and am getting out as soon as I can. At first, things weren't too bad. I had some problems with neighbors. But honestly that's to be expected in Manassas. The biggest problem was with their "re-plumbing" project. They came in and installed new pipes in the entire building starting with my apartment. Because I live on the first floor in the back they dug a hole in my dinning room and left it for 5 weeks. During that time I had to move all my stuff into two small areas in the living and bedrooms so they could cut holes in the walls and ceilings. They covered everything I own in drywall dust, and then wouldn't help with cleaning the apartment. I had to board my pet for almost 6 weeks and when I told the manager I should be compensated through decreased rent she basically laughed at me. Through having holes in the walls and ceiling I also found they lied about the insulation. The apartment is not fully insulated as promised, and I was told there's a mixture of sand and concrete between floors. That's a lie too. I'm out of here as soon as my lease is up! They have no regard for their residents what so ever.

This review is right on! Holes in the walls, construction workers going in and out of my apartment (they were given a key by the manager). No water. A filthy mess. But look on the bright side! At least you know your rent will increase when your lease is up.
