Pros/Cons

When my roommate and I first came here we thought it was the best place ever to be advertised because of what it had to offer. I'm not gonna go into an opinionated comment but I'll try to stick to the facts to get a better view of the place.

Pros:
1. Brand new apartments & townhomes
2. Adequate parking if you live closer to the trash compactor
3. 24/7 accessible fitness center
4. Ratio of sq. ft. to price is better than most
5. 2 min. drive to GMU's Prince William Campus
6. 3 min. drive to VRE station
7. 7 min. drive to I-66
8. Pets allowed
9. Prompt maintenance IF you call in the AM (and again around noon)
10. No criminals living here

Cons:
1. Unorganized, unfriendly management
2. Children asking to be roadkill
3. Pet restriction of >25lbs (even though the place "honors" bigger dogs for those who moved in under previous mgmt.)
4. Too much trash being left around the trash compactor partly due to management's fault for not properly briefing tenants on how to use, where to put trash, etc.
5. Pool opened just this month (been living here since May)
6. Hard to find food delivery unless you call restaurants or order online
7. Fitness center key won't be activated unless you constantly remind them
8. Routine air filter and smoke alarms not routinely checked and maintained

My roommate and I have been living here since May of this year and found that, in general, the longer you live here the more you'll feel like managment doesn't exist save for the notices they post at your door once a week. Children pop out of nowhere one day and are not being watched while playing outside despite management repeatedly notifying all residents to keep their kids off the street.

We live in a townhouse end-unit so I wouldn't know about noise since our neighbors decided to evacuate without letting the office know and we're not on the same strip of the road with all the kids. I would suggest moving here only if you can tolerate all the cons of this place, are a Mason student taking classes at their PW campus, or work in Manassas. Otherwise it would be wise to move somewhere closer to civilization.
