Ok. I would like to announce that I did make it out alive and I should have the tee shirt. I made it through my year and I did move out. The "new" staff was as bad as the old staff.. They could get nothing done. They were incompetent. They could not call me on the problems that I did have. After the 5th time of me giving them my number. Nothing ever got done until I threatened with a lawyer. Then they half way did the job. I do not believe they ever got it right. I think the drug dealers had it right.. They moved out 2 weeks before I did. They must of thought it sucked as bad as I did..
The Property manager that I had referred to the property as a problem property.
I was in the same field a few years ago . Back when Soldiers Ridge was managed by Rimsi. The property was always nice and we took care of things there. We did not sit on it and think it would go away.. That property was maintained by 1 maintenance man not 2-3-or maybe 4' And it did not have the revolving staff as this place does.
The maintenance is horrible. Except for the older gent. He is as nice as can be.
If you want filters and batteries. I guess you have to go beg maintenance men for them. I know that is the only way I got them... I called the office and they told me it would get done and never did in the year I was there. I called the Regional Manager and it still did not get done. I finally caught a maintenance man and got 2 . I think I stopped him in his golf cart race around the neighborhood.
The parents in the neighborhood do not watch there kids. This has nothing to do with the staff.
And the people that live there do not care about trash or anything of that nature.
Instead of the management adding another trash can there they just let the trash stack up .
If you ever get the pest control guy there. He is the nicest guy there. He helped me a great deal getting rid of my mouse. He was friendly and able to fix the problems that the maintenance men could not.
Dogs... uh come on people with dogs. There are trash bags and trash cans. PICK UP THE POOP.. Kids should be allowed to play in the common areas with out getting crap on there shoes ... And I think there is a LEASH LAW IN VA ..
I do have one good thing to say..
If you have kids and your kids go to Ellis.
Then they are lucky. It is a good school . The teachers are great... :) And if you are lucky enough to get a place that back to the water then you have a good view...
But other then that... GOODLUCK. I hope that your stay is better then mine!!!
