I have lived in the complex for about four months. I hadn't heard of the community or this site until after I leased. I have had a horrible experience from the beginning. The place looks nice but NEVER judge a book by its cover. I live in a townhouse. It's connected to another townhouse and apartments. I hear everything and I mean everything in my neighbors apartments. My daughter has to sleep with a stero on every night so she doesn't hear what's going on in the neighbors bedroom. I've had several maintenance requests go unanswered including a smoke detector that goes off at least 3 times a day, no exaggeration. The won't even come look at it. I've threatened to call the fire dept the next time it goes off at 3 am but they don't seem to care. My furnace has broken down 3 times in 3 months and my kitchen sink flooded for 2 days before someone came. The office staff including the billing dept are useless. They can't seem to get their stuff together. I was even asked to lie and forge signatures on my lease paperwork. When I refused, I had an altercation with one of them until I threatened to report them. The parking is bad. If you aren't home before dark especially on Fridays, you will have to park pretty far from your home. The community isn't safe at all. The first week we moved in, someone approached my husband about drugs. The person was a guest of a resident. The police are called every weekend which only makes you feel more uncomfortable. In summary, we are very sorry we moved here and didn't research the community. We are breaking our lease and leaving at the end of our 60 day notice which we have to pay out a portion. We will be entitled to a refund of our deposit because I will hire a professional to clean just to avoid the stress. And I will take them to court for the return of my deposit if I don't get it in 45 days. I won't wait a day over the max because I know how they do business and if they think you've forgotten they will take their time returning it.
