I'll give them an "E" for effort

Okay.. I've been at this facility for quite some time now and I'll tell you this - there is good and there is bad. Here's my review:
The Living Room
The living room is plenty spacious! You have enough room for a 60" TV, a decent size couch, greenery, and a coffee table without feeling like your cramming the place. Guest will have plenty of room to move about without having to watch their step due to an overwhelming fear of knocking something over. Walking through the door can easily impress you at first glance and continues to do so every time you open the door.
Master Bedroom
The Master bedroom is fairly large - there's a lot of space to add your knick-knacks and dress up things a bit here - however the walk way to the bathroom is very narrow and, because the closet is situated in that hallway, it can make putting away clothes aggravating. The Master bathroom is very nice - big mirror, nice size tub and shower, a rack for towels and a sink. I found it to be mildly satisfactory for a very acute reason. Other than taking a shower and brushing your teeth, the bathroom's main purpose is to allow you to "relieve" yourself of your daily responsibilities. Well, you can do this however not comfortably. When you sit down upon the noble thrown, you will notice something rather peculiar -- you can't sit forward because your legs are forced to turn because you are too close to the wall! So you have to sit kinda diagonal on the toilet to accomplish anything! Don't laugh cause this could be you :)
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom is very small.. and I mean very small. If you have a single bed though, you'll find that the space can show some potential. A full size bed quickly will diminish any thoughts of "spreading out" and is suited for a child rather than a single adult.
The Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen and eating areas are great. The kitchen has enough room for more than 1 person to move in and out without bumping elbows while the dining area gives enough space for a large table to feed a family.
Maintenance
Maintena What maintenance'' Maintenance is very irresponsible and seldom responds to an emergency with the urgency warranted by the situation. My ceiling caved in due to excessive rain and it took them a week to repair the damage. The repair was less than adequate -- just a patch job. I actually had to climb up in a chair and sand down the patch and paint over top of the repair after waiting a 2 months for them to come back and complete the work. Our dishwasher flooded too. That was not their fault of course, however, we waited 14 days for a replacement only to find out that the replacement dishwasher had been been sitting in there warehouse for 13 days!!! Thank GOD I followed up!! To sum things up -- Maintenance barely exist here -- but the crew is VERY nice.
Management
Management.. well, I've been trying to think of something nice to say about management and the only thing that I can come up with is that the like to smile at you a lot. Tanglewood has a serious parking problem. If you don't investigate this sooner, you will quickly learn that carrying groceries to your door after 8:00pm can be more of a challenge than you thought. Initially when we first moved in, Tanglewood enforced parking. Residents clearly and comfortably could find a parking space close to their apartment. As time progressed, staffing decided to deviate from this principle and now you'll find commercial vehicles, unofficial residents, Out-of-town guest and unauthorized vehicles parked in those premium spots in front of your apartment after you get back home from work. After several complaints to management, the response to the complaints were the equivalent of: "oh well". Sound like the kinda people you want to deal with' And this "oh well" attitude is carried across the entire spectrum of problems Tanglewood has incurred. Got a leaky faucet -"oh well". Need emergency maintenance - "oh well". Sex offender living in the complex - "oh well". Can't find parking - "oh well". Actually caring about the tenants seems to elude the staff and you acquire a sense that everyone in the office is just there to get a paycheck. That very attitude will have you scratching your head wondering how you got stuck paying over a thousand a month for this very same apartment.
Overall
Overall, management is unresponsive, cares less about your problems and maintenance is unreliable. After a year of being here, the once eagerly anticipated becomes a shell of it's former luminescence. If you can deal with management problems and some structural annoyances, then this is a nice place to live. However, if you expect more out of your community than just a hand in your wallet then I'd urge you to find another place to reside. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone but yet it's still better than some other places. You decide.
