Horrible apartment complex

Welcome to the Ghetto is definitely a good title for this place. Our downstairs neighbors have five people living in a two bedroom, and their kids practice music at midnight, 1am, whenever they feel like it. The couple fights and screams, management doesn't seem to care, and calling the cops only makes them fight with the cops for a bit.
My car has been hit multiple times in the parking lot, without so much as a note. Again, management doesn't care. There is NO parking unless you get home around 4pm because of all the deadbeats that don't work.
I constantly get invoices from the main office with outrageous extra fees and things added. Apparently my electric runs around $150 a month, which is absurd. This month I have a "Utility Billing Fee" of $50 added. With all the various extra crap on the bill, my rent runs around $1500 a month.
This is not the place to raise a family, and I have concerns for my safety, and for my wife while I'm at work. I'm moving as soon as the lease is up.

I also live at Tanglewood and I find it quite curious how the only people who seem to write these negative reviews tend to be people who are angry about issues caused by their own negligence. Doesn't everyone know that they have to contact the utility company and change service to their own account. Of course the community is going to bill you for your electricity, which they paid for you in good faith instead of just shutting your power off. Also, because of all of the administrative time that is involved in this, they should be entitled to billing you a billing fee. Why don't you quit wining and trying to hurt the reputation of a wonderful community which I call home, just because you aren't responsible enough to manage your own financial responsibilities.
If the residents at Tanglewood were not happy, then I would think that the parking lots would be empty and that there would be plenty of parking, because the community would be vacant.
The office staff and maintenance are extremely courteous, professional and attentive to all of my needs and have been from the beginning. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone looking to relocate to this wonderful area.
Sincerely,
Happy and Satisfied Tanglewood Resident.

Whoever LoveTanlewood is, they obviously know not of what they say. This place is a dump and the issues about parking, noisy neighbors, and unresponsive management staff is true. There are non-lease holders taking up the parking spaces and the rest is occupied by commercial vehicles. I've been here for almost 4 years now and I've seen this place just take a dump on everyone. I'm leaving at the end of my lease too. Tanglewood sucks and so does the community. Do not rent here!

I'm worried now. My husband and I just signed a lease, we move in Feb. 8th. We have 2 children as well. When we were talking to the lady who walked us through our lease signing a resident who was waiting for help advised parking was horrible and then she advised that they are trying to fix the problem by using stickers, which then the resident responded that he had been told that several times. After he left the manager came over to us and advised that the parking issue was going to be fixed. I guess I will find out.
