I've been a resident in this community for over a year and alot of the things I've been reading about Tanglewood is completely false. I've heard all this stuff about bugs, but I live on the first floor and I haven't seen any bugs unless I'm standing outside. I have simple maintenance requests here and there, but it gets done in a timely manner. Trash around the property: If people cleaned up their own mess, I'm pretty sure that will fix itself.

I have to admit -- I've never had a roach infestation so that may be a unique problem for certain individuals, however, you must admit that maintenance is not as reliable as you would make it out to seem. Request are not ALWAYS fulfilled in a timely manner and they are severly understaffed. There is no excuse for the grounds, however. As the property manager, he is responsible for not only providing a safe environment for his tenants but must also maintain the grounds cleanliness.. diligently. It is not easy BUT to say that "If people cleaned up their own mess, I'm pretty sure that [it] will fix itself.." is an absurd notion. I could say the same thing about racism: "If people taught there kids not to hate, then there would be no racism in the world" or "If we spent more time with our children and raised them to respect the law, there would be no crime". Let's just keep it real -- not everyone is responsible and there is a lot of "If only(s)" that can make life easier but the truth is that you can't live on a hope. It's actions that define Tanglewood -- now.. IF ONLY we could get them to hire a grounds keeper to keep the grounds clean despite the diversity of people that live there.

You can tell that the original poster Boogie82 is probably a fake user trying to promote Tagnlewood. Especiallly from "Trash around the property: If people cleaned up their own mess, I'm pretty sure that will fix itself." You can tell thats something an apartment worker would use to say to a tenant as a solution for trash issues.
