1) If people have nothing better to do than exhibit libel (that is, written slander) for this development, the least these individuals could do is use some spell check or - better yet - learn the English language. It might help... just a thought.
2) Wellington Place, like many other developments in the area, will be subject to changes in property management and thus the efficiency in which tenants are dealt may be lacking. (I lived in Tanglewood and had to deal with that nightmare)
3) I have never lived at Wellington Place, nor do I want to.. I have friends/family that have lived (and do live) there and I certainly can empathize with some of the complaints posted on here. Namely:
- Scare tactics
- Miscommunication between staff
- Dirty and unkept commons areas
In regards to the scare tactics, I am not sure why someone would suggest that the form language for ANY letter they send to a tenant in GOOD STANDING be the "pay or else" approach. My cousin still lives there and deals with these letters on an almost monthly basis. I know for a fact that said cousin is not making delinquent/late payments, so these letters are being sent to him FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER.
There is obvious miscommunication because my cousin gave his 60-day notice to the leasing office about 2 - 3 weeks ago, then receives a letter from the leasing office, dated BEFORE he put his notice in that he was not renewing his lease. Typical form language, but the letter was dated WELL BEFORE my cousin put in his notice, and the time period from the date of the letter to when the letter was put on his door was about 3 weeks. This is NOT professional and I have a hard time understanding why anyone would run a business in this manner. (Not for me to get, I suppose'')
The place is nice overall, I wouldn't really say "aesthetically pleasing," but it's not like it's an eyesore, either. The commons areas are a little lacking in their functionality. Tennis courts I have NEVER seen used for that purpose. There isn't really any loitering that I see, but this doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. Parking lots could be paved any time WP is ready to shell out the money they take from their tenants for average accomodation(s). Again, just a thought.
All in all, I wouldn't live there because I don't think it is worth the price. To those that feel they cannot do better than Wellington Place, fine, stay there. Nobody is stopping you! I personally choose to spend my money at Manassas Meadows, because I don't need a pet right now (M. Meadows does not allow pets) and honestly I like their layouts much better than those at Wellington Place.
I hope that someone finds this review informative, and at the very least, fair. I know some ignorant person/people will find a problem with what I have conveyed, but hopefully some will find value in my review.

Excellent Review! THIS is how these things should be written. Honestly, you wonder how people who write in such an illiterate fashion can even use a computer! Bravo--Great & informative review!

Okay, if your getting a letter about money being owed, then you realy do owe it... Just b/c someone doesn't agree with what you-say doesn't mean we are ignorant at all. The dummy above agree's with you b/c she or he is getting the boot out! I think the staff is wonderful and helpful. I also think that the maintenance does an okay job. Maybe-just maybe your foolish self needs to walk a mile in thier shoes.. And please excuse any mis-spelled words.. I do know how to work with computers.. Your both a bit ignorant... ... How can you write a review and not even live at the complex? Yes, please go on what your family and friends tell you because if they pay their rent late, they tell you about all the nasty letters they get. They should find a job that will pay their bills then they just might not get any nasty letters!.....
