I've read mostly all of the comments left on this site and I do agree with most of them.
The office staff is less than stellar. In my case, when I began my ordeal with this property, the staff was extremely pleasant, VERY NICE. I actually thought that I might have made the right choice in choosing Wellington Place. Kelly (I think her name was), very personable and always had a smile. Shortly after Kelly left, I will say my dealings with the staff became extremely rare.
There have been a lot of instances where the property failed me as a tenant. I've found cigarette ashes in my toilet (I don't smoke), Food missing from my pantry. After bringing my concerns to the office, I was brushed aside and since the staff as been extremely rude. Being a female and worried of course first about my safety you can see why this bothers me ( if a person is so bold as to eat my food and smoke in my apartment they must be going through my apartment to see if I??m home or not), also I was told that maybe they didn't receive all the keys from the prior tenant, after that blow I was told that I needed to file a report with the police department in order for them to change the locks (should have been a professional courtesy). It has reached the point that I am going to file a complaint with the city. I wouldn't jump that far but my repeated attempts to contact the property manager (or management company) was derailed with the staff giving me wrong numbers and wrong web sites (metric property- no longer has this account I've spoke with several people from that company as well.)
My apartment has done me well for my time spent. Its' what I would expect for the price (I have a pet). I've never had issues with any pests or insects or bugs or whatever everyone else has. Also people have to understand that it only takes one NASTY person to ruin a complex. What may have started off rodent free has obviously been compromised by someone. It may not be your fault directly (it could have been someone 3 tenants before you). However, the problem does exist and something does need to be done about it, just don't expect a quick fix (you might be a clean person and your neighbor could be a slob).
I do believe that the staff if genuinely good, but there are some issues going on that I as a tenant may not know or is just non of my business, the MANAGER-is very difficult to deal with and I can see how that trickle down effect could cause unneeded stress to staff and that stress thus pressed on to the residents. I??m a firm believer in you don??t know how hard a persons job is until you walk in their shoes so I will not pass judgment and start calling names or pointing fingers. I??d much rather be a part of the solution rather than a thorn in someone side. This is just my take as a resident.
P.S. yes my electric bill did double over the winter, I do however feel as though maybe a Newsletter should have went out to the tenants on how to winterize a home to minimize costs.

Always the office staff is blamed b/c you thought you had food in your pantry but you ate it, or that the ring around that toilet finally slipped into the bowl.. most of all who bash this complex are mad evil people or neighboring complexes.. Don't always believe what you read.. Go your self. I lived here for a few years and have had no problems at all! You put no, on there but yet the staff is good. You should reconsider your review... Keep your air at 70-72 degrees. Watch what you use electic wise etc... Then it will go down. I live in a larger apt. and this is what my electric bill was until I picked up the phone and called the power company. Please also note that the disbursing charge went up almost 35 percent.

P.S. O, also I'm not mean or an evil person, I'm rather nice and pleasant however that doesn't give anyone the right to take advantage and I will not allow to do so. I'm sure your a nice person, you wouldn't want someone taking advantage of you either.

Did you know they have a new manager now? She seems really nice, a definite improvement. They seem to be taking better care of the place now too.

The management is rude and useless. Dana may come off as nice but she's blown me off many times.
