Our family has been living here for five months now, and have thoroughly enjoyed the community, and the area. I have no idea what other consumers who rated this apartment are talking about. This is one of the best places my family has lived since moving to Virginia. Let me start with the negative first becuase there is only negative and it has nothing to do with WestGate at all. Becuase we are striving toward home ownership affordability and reasonable living arrangements are key, as savings and investments are needed to purchase a home. We are firm believers in acquiring a sound, moral, and excellent education when it comes to our growing family, as a result, we will have to either home school or pay for a Catholic school becuase the school district is overflowing with ESL students and parents who refuse to speak the language and as a result the quality of the education, and the quality of the child educatinal career is very poor teetering borderline failure- translation-dont use the local public school system.

We appreciate our experience here in comparsion to the last. Our leasing agent, and the majority of the staff are very friendly, professional, and light. In particular there is one lovely, young lady in the Business office who is very well mannered, and very professional and makes visiting the club house a pleasure. The maintenance is quick, proactive, and good quality. They are thorough and strive to work with you. Saftey is another issue becuase we have a young child. There are neighborhood watch meetings, self defense classes, and other saftey measures. Our duaghter especially likes it as there are many tot lots, picnic areas and there is a pool including a wade pool. The location is great becuase it's near family friendly stores including a soon to be Superwalmart. There is a library five minutes away as well. Our two bedroom apartment is very big, nice carpeting, loving the dishwasher, and the kitchen is big enough for a freezer. Our neighbors are decent people, and we don't see or hear allot of incomming traffic on Fridays or Saturdays. Good parking including visitor parking! Its a wonderful place to live if you're starting out, transitioning,etc Good luck!
