Only move to Westgate if you have too. Westgate has a serious bug problem. I have found cockroaches the size of my finger, a two inch beetle, spiders in all sizes, earwigs, etc. I lived on the third floor too.
The buildings were made in 1981 and the upkeep is terrible. Make sure to look at what you are moving into closely. The tub alone has large bumps resemble boils. The cabinets are shoddy, the windows are unaligned and let in all types of bees and hornets, as well as cause a problem with heat and air conditioning bills. Everything in the building has slanted with time and not been fixed.
Laundry is terrible, there are only three washers and dryers per 3 or more buildings and it costs $1.25 for every load. Good luck.
Be wary of what the staff tell you when you move in. Be sure that everything is specified, or else you will find yourself paying a $20 online payment fee, a $25 dollar lockout fee, or to replace the carbon monoxide and fire detectors and their batteries in your apartment.
I was transitioning from college to full-time job and didn't know how long I would be unemployed. For this type of situation Westgate is adequate. Otherwise, it would make more sense to pay the extra money to have better accomodations.
