I really enjoyed my time at Dolley Madison. Even though the buildings and appliances are not brand new, when and if I have a problem (so far, only a fridge defrosting and a WC plumbing problem), management deals with it courteously and rightaway and maintenance comes and fix it by the next day at the very least :)

Otherwise the apartment community is in a very nice, safe and posh location: less than a mile away from Tyson's Galleria and Tyson's Corner Mall, less than a mile away to grocery stores such as Safeway, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's. Freeway access is less than a mile away as well.

Also I liked the fact that heat, water and trash disposal is included in the rent.

The only things I can complain about are :

1) parking: you don't have assigned spots (if you want one you would have to pay for it) and sometimes it may be hard to get a spot right in front of your door if you come home after 6 pm.

2) not a major issue for me, but just to let you know, like in most apartments, you can hear your neighbours' music/TV when it's over a certain volume as well as footsteps and voices sometimes (muffled though).

But all in all, a really good place to live in Tyson's Corner/McLean :) Comes highly recommended.
