I am renting an have lived in a 3 story unit for about 7 months. I have rented at 4 different places in the DC area over the last 4 years, and this place is probably the one I've liked least. The floors are paper thin. You can hear everything above you. My neighboor downstairs is a huge pain and bangs on my ceiling at the slightest noise. And I do mean slightest... like walking across my bedroom in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. The office is also open at very limited times, 9 to 5 (M to F, closed weekends) I think, so if you work and have a package delivered, it can be difficult to recover it from the office. They also lost one of my packages in the office. The price is not bad, I haven't had trouble with parking, and the location is good, but besides that, this place is crap. Also, they have started construction on another apartment complex right next door and it is really loud and annoying in the mornings. I would checkout Fairfax Towers on 7 if I were you. Lived there 2 years ago and was a decent place to live.
