Under previous mgmt, I would have rated this community above average in most all catagories. But the new owner/mgmt have stated intentions to convert the property to Condominiums in 2003, and in less than one month they have already cut the ammenities/services to renters dramatically. EXAMPLES: business center abruptly closed with no notice to renters; 24 hour maint/lock out service discontinued, use of common areas such as clubhouse/screening room, curtailed and/or suspendeed, previous agreements subject to review, dumpster surround demolished, leaving unattractive view of garbage, no signs of construction on a new/improved surround evident for several weeks) The current renters here are very obviously not a priority to the new mgmt, and I would take that as an accurate reflection of the level of service that can be expected from owner/residents of this property once converted to condos. My understanding is that they have a moratorium on any new or renewal rental leases, condo sales estimated to begin in 6 months. They claim the condos will be marketed to current renters exclusively for a period of time before making units available to the public. Unless they were priced considerably under market - I would not consider buying or re-renting here. Ratings below reference the new mgmt.
