1. The noise from traffic is hardly noticeable. I face the highways and it is a light background sound, with an occasional emergency siren.
2. The exterior has a pleasant appearance. Generally speaking the design, landscaping and buildings are attractive.
3. The management does not seem to be able to see to it that the elevator is maintained and running on a steady basis. Since the building only has one elevator this is a problem, especially for those on the upper floors and those with disabilities. No amount of reporting outages to the management has resulted in any improvement in the continued operation of the elevator.
4. The general appearance of the interior is shabby and it is unsanitary. The carpets in the halls are badly stained with dog urine and feces and food spills. The walls are spotted with cracks and holes in places.
5. The building is very poorly constructed. Although the units are supposed to have padded carpets people walking in a normal way in their upper units are heard with very loud cracks below them, since the floor joiners are loose. It's a loud popping sound every time someone takes a stop. This becomes a problem when people are woken out of a sound sleep at 2:30am by the people above them coming home. If someone closes their door is shakes the surrounding units.
6. People sometimes prop the exterior doors open, compromising security for all the residents.
7. People come in late at night and wake up others by whistling or shouting loudly for their dogs, or shouting to other people.
