I'm dismayed at the rants of the one long review and so apparently we live in opposite universes. Although not apartments, the Gates of McLean is actually a condominimum community with a high percentage of owners, the management does respond to rational complaints and the Board works hard to resolve issues--after all they live there as well and all of them own their units. The Board invested quite a bit in the buildings with new painting and will soon install new hall carpet in the midrises. This person seems to be seeking a perfect world and as a consumer in America, the disgruntled renter should vote with their feet and move out. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC

The use of the word "community" is laughable given the transient population who have no vested interest in bothering with the regulations here. The management is like management at other similar complexes. They come to work and they pick up a pay check. There is no real regard for residents at The Gates of McLean.
