Enjoying it so far. But I didn't exactly drop $400k on a unit.

The residents are a bit standoffish, depending where you live. The building I am in (1591) appears to be in fine shape - new carpeting in the halls, walls are clean, only problem is a slow elevator. I did have a problem when installing FiOS, since the fiber optics was only run up to the 3rd floor (in a 4 story building), so I had to coordinate with my downstairs neighbor to complete installation.
I've had no problem with noise of any kind, but I'm in a corner unit on the 4th floor, away from the 495/dulles intersection. The pool is kept clean, and there's a nice little quarter-mile fitness trail through the woods behind the complex. The staff has been friendly, although like any such community there's a bit of an over-protective HOA vibe.
The visitor parking can be a huge issue. I haven't had any problem with parking out on Scotts Crossing, but the lack of non-reserved parking can be a real pain. The speed bumps do suck, but they're the same in any complex like this with kids.
The location for me is fantastic, though. I have business in DC and out by Dulles, and while the Metro isn't here yet, West Falls Church and Vienna are perfectly drivable. Tysons Corner is right across the road, which is a plus.
Anyway, there's obviously some range in terms of building condition and noise, so check it out yourself to see what you're getting.
