Disappointing and Not Really Worth the Money

The location is good and it's an ok place to live but it's very expensive for what you actually get. A lot of the fixtures look nice when you move in but actually are pretty cheap and deteriorate quickly.
They used to have cardboard and aluminum recycling and they got rid of the bins without any explanation which I thought was crummy. Finding visitor parking near your apartment can be a problem (depending on which unit you live in I think).
It seems to me that the management has gone downhill in the past 3 years. My sink broke and I had to call 3 times to get it repaired. Also, my dryer has never worked right and it has been "repaired" a number of times (I think it needs to be REPLACED). When they had outside inspectors come in recently I had some cash stolen off my coffee table - not really the Lincoln's fault I suppose but pretty annoying.
I get a lot of noise from the basketball courts - lots of people yelling and swearing, which doesn't really add to the ambience and means I have to close my balcony door on nice days sometimes.
Safety seems to be an issue - I have never felt unsafe but there have been a number of purse snatching incidents. I think the security guards do their best - they have walked my visitors to their cars a couple of times.
My neighbors are very nice and I like that they allow dogs (for an extra $400 each). I have had some pleasant experiences with some of the staff - especially maintenance crew who are very friendly to my dog.
When it snowed like crazy this winter they did have people out plowing (not right away, but eventually) and someone helped me dig out my car, which was cool.
My impression of the management company is that they're pretty money grubbing - there are lots of extra fees and charges for little things.
My lease runs out in a couple of months and I'm not re-signing. There's gotta be a better alternative out there than mediocrity at a premium price.
