We lived at the Lincoln for 3 years. Since we were located on the far edge of the property in a corner two bedroom apartment, we did not have to deal with a lot of noise or being bothered by traffic.

The maintenance staff was good to work with. They were responsive. However, the leasing staff was a joke. They were not responsive. They constantly lost our mail. We hardly ever received notices that mail was sitting there until they called us saying that they were going to ship it back. They called us twice to tell us that they were going to ship back items that were sitting there for a long time, however, when we looked at the logs, it had been delivered that day.

The rental rates go up dramatically every year even though it is a soft market.

Why we left was due to the leasing agents. Someone commented that you have to give 60 days notice and they are not very good about reminding you of it. But what I found interesting is how they do business. I recommend going into the leasing office as a new tenant when your lease is up for renewal. You will find out that they are leasing apartments for far less then you are paying. I think this practice is very unethical. When they offer a discount on the rent, it still does not work out to much.

We moved to another location not far from Tysons and found our apartment size went up by 250 square feet and rent went down by $150 per month due to the soft market. Would never have known about the market had the leasing office been a bit more responsive.
