Electric bill is ridiculous

I can't believe that it costs $200 a month to heat my apartment. Management told me that the electric bills would be under $100, but that is totally not true. I think the heating system is very inefficient since the heat is constantly running and blowing cold air. I had to turn down my heat to 62 degrees in order to bring down the cost of heating my apartment!!! It is totally ridiculous. The apartment itself is nice but its too bad I can't enjoy it since I dread coming home to a FREEZING apartment
