I've been living here a few months only, so take this review for what it's worth. I didn't find this site and ratings until after I signed my lease, so naturally I was horrified and went into "what have I done" mode for several weeks.

I'm please to say that most of the previous negative reviews are a bunch of crap. Must be coming from leasing agents at the nearby competition.

I must say, though, I do not care for most of my neighbors as everyone is so self-absorbed and unfriendly, and half stare at you in fright if you dare say hello.

Anywho, here's the way I see it:

Pros:
Tons of parking
Quiet
Carwash area on site
Nice pool
Nice gym
Friendly staff
Apartment was in perfect condition upon move-in
Wood fireplace
Gigantic balcony
Nice view
Close to Tysons, if you work there it's perfect
Tons of hot water, never seems to run out
Great water pressure
Low deposit, only $100!
No bugs, rodents or criminals anywhere so far
Convenient trash chutes
Security system ($25/month) and free "panic button" inside the apt
Vaulted ceilings on top floor

Cons:
Unfriendly neighbors that are afraid to say hello
Older appliances
I've put in 4 maintenance requests - 3 went ignored although their status on the Post Residential Portal marks them as "complete" (HUH')
A/C and heat coupled with thin windows = high utility bills
60-day move-out notice required
None of the buildings or parking areas are gated or secure
$500 per pet fee seems high to me 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C

I wouldn't go as far as saying the previous reviews were full of crap. http://forums.evolutionm.net/7076592-post42.html I expected a few random break-in's here and there, as this is common with any apartment complex. I just didn't expect them to strip my car to the bone while it sat in the parking lot. They even broke my steering column when they tried to hot wire it, but my engine immobilizer stopped them from starting my engine. Then they just decided to rip everything off my car... right on the spot. I don't leave valuables in my car either, but I suppose my car parts were valuable enough. Though, I'm not sure why they didn't target the beautiful red E46 M3 a floor below. My car was initially untargeted throughout the first few rounds break-ins during my year of living here. (I received a notification regarding automobile thefts and break-ins about once every 2-4 months.) It made me naive. I figured I was pretty safe. Then a month before I moved out, all this crap happened. To be honest, if my car didn't get completely mutilated in their parking lot, my time spent living there wasn't *that* bad. Although, I do agree with the unfriendly neighbors aspect. In the year I spent living there I only really got to know one other person. However, I think this is an unfortunate side effect of living in the DC area where everybody is seemingly too busy minding their own business. Anyways, if you love your car, just be careful. It might be worth installing a two way pager alarm, although I'm not quite sure the signal will penetrate concrete.

Oh man, I just saw your car pictures. Holy hell, dude, that is some bad luck right there. Out of all the other cars in the lot... :( I certainly did not mean to imply your story is crap. If you'll observe, in my "cons" section I specifically stated the car park is not secure or gated. I do worry about a break-in and go to special pains to make sure I park close to the elevator, don't leave stuff out, etc, and this is because of your story. Thanks and sorry this happened to you.
