I moved out and should have walked around and talked to folks living at Brandy Hill
prior to me moving in. Do your homework like I should have!!
The walls are so thin that you can actually hear regular conversations.
Regular walking sounded so loud above me. My dog would bark at the wall everytime someone above me would flush the toilet and the water rushed in the pipes inside the walls!
My apartment flooded TWO separate times, in different rooms. Once when they powerwashed the complex and another was in the bedroom from the rain. Mold and mildew stained things terribly, and the builders actually came out to review.
ZERO compensation was given to me either time from rent, not even a single $1.
I had to stay with friends because they had carpeting ripped up, fans, humidity fans, etc.
CiCi's Pizza had donated the mgr a coupon for a free pizza, so she gave me that.
What a slap in the face!!
The walking trails are nice, but there is so much dog poop you need boots!
If you live on the bottom levels, the smell of dog poop flows in the windows.
I've yet to get my deposit back of $500, and have called several times, and still have not rcvd a return call from the man in the office. I called the main mgmt company in Va Beach and they said I "should" get it within 45 days. I will give credit to a lady there that walked around and found it on someone's desk.
Today is day 43--we shall see!!! Funny how we had to pay rent on time!!
