Leasing Office VERY Dishonest

Do not move here! With the disgusting bug & spider problems you are better off paying 1/2 the rent somewhere else. I moved here in April & they still have not solved the problem. They think sending someone over once in a while to spray the back door will fix the situation. The leasing office told me the way the apartments were built the first floor will have spider & bug issues. They don't tell you this until after you've signed your lease & moved in. I was told there was nothing that could be done other than letting me move into a different unit. Well I have to wait on a unit to become available (I've been waiting over a month) & will have to move all my stuff yet again only to move out when my lease is up to get far away from this place. So having to move all my stuff isn't really a liable option. If they offer first floor apartment & charge them at the same rate as upper levels, then they need to make sure they are of the same quality. I have spoken w/ the acting property manager several times who always promises to call back but never does. The first time she said she completely forgot, I waited over two weeks. I asked for her manager's number so I could report the issue. Her manager will not return my calls either, I guess that's why the property manager doesn't either b/c they do not care about customer service. I've been told that maintenance will fix any cracks or holes to help minimize the issue, that hasn;t happened either. Maintenance will come in, work on one thing & then leave. They either don't care or the office isn't properly communicating w/ them. I went in to the office myself to talk to the proprty manager myself so I would not have to wait on yet another unreturned phone call. She was extremelly rude to me, & when I got offended & my voice raised a little (I was upset, but was not yellinh) I was told to watch it. Yet she can speak to me in any way she wants. I tried calling the number listed in the website for Weinstein Properties & was given the run around again. It wasn't until I told the property manager that since I couldn't get anywhere w/ her or her manager that I would have to have a lawsuit that the property manager was "authorized" to provide me with another phone number. Please save yourself a headache & dont move here! Also the walls & floors are paper thin so if kids are living above you, you will hear it everytime!
