An overall great place to live!

There has been a lot of turnover in the staff at Crowne at Swift Creek in this past year, yet they have managed to remain consistently friendly and helpful. Every issue or question I have had has been taken care of promptly. I think Ginny was probably the best community director the complex had, I hope her new replacement will be as efficient and friendly. It is true that the gates never work, but realistically, they wouldn't keep anyone out that really wanted to get in anyway. They may as well just remove them altogether because in the 2 years that I have lived at Crowne, the gates have probably worked about 10% of the time. Although the gates are usually not operational, I always feel completely safe in the community. I frequently go for walks after dark and have never encountered anyone or anything that made me uncomfortable.

Aside from a few residents that don't speak, everyone in the community seems super friendly. I believe that the reason parking is a concern for some buildings is because residents have more than the allowed 2 vehicles parking in front of their building. I see visitors parking by the front building entrances ALL the time. I also see residents from other buildings parking at buildings that they do not live in even when their building has available parking. This is not something that can easily be managed by the property. I would suggest speaking to your neighbors if you have a problem with parking and see some of these things happening.

The only truly bad thing I have found about this community is the silverfish problem. I have yet to meet anyone that lives here that has NOT seen at least a few silverfish, especially in the summer. It seems to be a pretty big issue affecting the entire property. The office does offer free pest control to all of the residents once a month but standard pest control efforts do NOT control silverfish. Luckily I only see them sporadically but I do know a few residents that have had bigger issues with them. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
