where to start...!!!!!

1. insulation is terrible
- windows feel like they're opened when closed!
- we can hear every conversation our neighbors have upstairs and outside!

2. terrible staff
- completely clueless in every area
- did not even know how to hook up their own internet connection (took almost a week to just hook up the internet, absolutely clueless!)
- the mis charges spoken of already on here are so true, they will find a way to overcharge you for everything with unnecessary application/service fees
-problems take entirely too long to be resolved

3. hi-speed internet'
- monopoly of internet/cable provider (only allowed dish cable/cavalier dsl internet which is pre-wired and shared throughout entire complex!)
- claims broadband speeds (actual speed = averages 100kb/s or barely faster than the internet on your NON 3g cellular phone!)
- $39 a month for this speed is a complete rip-off! streaming video is completely impossible! mp3s take almost 20 minutes to download if you remember 56k connections its barely faster than that!)
- cannot cancel the service! once you request service you are stuck with it for the entire lease!

4. PARKING
- do not rent here if you have a full size pickup truck! you will not be able to park!
- inadequate parking spaces for number of tenants already leased, I can not imagine how it will be when the construction is complete, good lcuk finding a spot even remotely close!

5. mail
- mailboxes are vaguely labeled with multiple buildings having same apt #s
- your mail will be delivered to the wrong box if at all possible avoid having personal mail sent to your apt address (we've received countless sensitive credit card statements delivered to the wrong mailbox)

6. locks'
- if you like privacy this place is not for you!
- no locks on any doors in apartment!

7. lights'
- no lights in some apartment rooms
- we have a light switch and no light!

can't wait until our lease is up we will celebrate the day to be free of this place!

I agree 100%!! The worst apartment community, by far, that I have ever lived in! Walls are so thin I can even hear EVERYTHING that goes on in the neighbor's apartment! The staff is the WORST!

To the original poster, have you entered a service request so we might investigate a potential problem with your windows? I am very sorry to learn of the delay in your internet connection. Have you submitted a request for credit? I would like to investigate your situation further. Have you submitted a request to drop the service? Each mailbox is labeled with the appropriate building number and specific apartment number. If you have experienced problems with mail delivery, I would strongly encourage you to let us or the Midlothian Post Office postmaster (Sycamore Square) know. The apartments are provided with a deadbolt at the entry door and a locking patio/balcony door (deadbolt for a french door).
