The place is nice on the outside. It is not the best insulated place, but apartments generally aren't. The biggest problem here is the service by the corporate office. I have live here several months and my internet has never worked right the entire time I have lived here. They keep saying they are 'working on it' or it will be fixed by a certain date. Then they never tell you it isn't fixed, but you know it isn't. The speeds are no better than dialup. In fact, dialup would be better most of the time. To top it off, they still charge for internet ... oh, and you can't get anything but their internet so they have no motivation to fix anything. I will be happy to move out when the time comes. Avoid any property managed by Edward Rose.

As expressed in an open letter to all residents, the corporate office staff is working on upgrades to the internet service. The upgrades require Verizon to build additional capacity leading to our property; since we are working with another contractor, we are unable to provide a completion date at this time. We are all extremely eager to have the speed issues resolved. In the meantime, if you will contact me directly, I would be happy to discuss alternative internet service options with you. -- Sarah Atkinson, Property Manager

The 'alternative internet service option' is clearwire internet. You get service through an antenna, it's unreliable and about the same speed as the service this apartment offers.

If you live at the Enclave and want to do something productive to complain about the internet issue here, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Ironically, you can do it online at http:www.richmond.bbb.org. Also, send an email to enclaveinternet@gmail.com. The best way to fight this problem is as a group.
