Started out great, went horribly downhill

My sole reason for moving here was a brilliant and vivacious young front-office worker who kept everyone happy, well-informed, and feeling like they were well-cared for. In the span of a few months, every "person of color" was fired -- most, including my favorite office person -- for spurious or self-contradictory reasons. Promised upgrades in kitchen appliances never appeared. Maintenance is what it used to be, and the front-office staff is callous, unhelpful, and uninterested in their residents. I'm extremely unhappy with the place, yet I daren't complain openly for fear of retaliation -- more than one resident has told me of ways that people have had charges, "accidents", or even evictions sparked by their legitimate complaints. Time to go, a.s.a.p.
