When checking out the apartments ask for a copy of the rental agreement before you pay the $47 application fee or the $250 to hold the apartment. The 72 hour period begans when you give them the application (acceptance)not when they tell you the application has been approved. There is no grace period for payment of your rent. The $200 non refundabel administrative fee is for what most apartments do anyway before they move someone in. I did not receive any details upfront and this being the first time I have looked at apartments in 22 years I lost my deposit because I did not agree with the information once I received it. Renter beware!

It is impossible to tell every person evey single detail becuase frankly there is an unlimited amount of information.
Ask questions if a "grace period" is so important to you. And no, you cannot see a lease before you even do an application. Its actually against VA law because it can change.
Oh and a "grace period" is nothing more than a child proof way of getting rent. If rent is due on the 1st pay on the 28th the month before...thats your "grace period"
